HERBERT GEORGE APARTMENT HOTEL CLAIRAC

You will find the Herbert George in the village centre of Clairac over looking the village Square.

We came across the Hotel a few years ago, and fell in love with its iron balconies and curved Windows. The property had been empty for almost twenty years, so we set out two years ago (2022) to bring the property and the square back to life in a sympathetic but modern way, from recycling doors and windows where possible to installing modern facilities for a comfortable stay, its been a journey for us and we hope it’s an experience for our guests. 

The journey is not yet fully complete as we plan renovations to the rear of the property and we are working on plans with our neighbours.

The Hotel consists of five self contained apartments for the modern traveler give you freedom and choice during your stay, why not stay in cook a meal and enjoy a bottle of wine on your balcony watching the nights sky.

Pets are welcome at €10 per night per animal maximum two dogs per room.

We are a five minutiae walk to the Clairac river beach where you can freely swim and sunbath over looking the weir in the river Lot.
